Biosecure is New Zealand's only not-for-profit Plant Pass Group Scheme Certificate Holder, specifically supporting all group schemes in New Zealand.

We provide:
- One on one advice and support to form a Group Scheme
- Site visits to all nurseries to look at how to enter the Group Scheme programme
- Pre-audit site checks
- Group Scheme Certificate quality management systems
- Liaison with Plant Pass and MPI

Our Story
There is a growing call from buyers for nurseries to become Plant Pass Certified, and with the ongoing costs of certification, common nurseries can join Plant Pass under a Group Scheme.
​
Biosecure was founded to support not just individual nurseries to become Plant Pass Certified, but also Groups to join under a Plant Pass Scheme.
​
Each group will form under Biosecure, paying an annual subscription fee to become a group scheme member. This cost if an equal share of holding the Plant Pass Certificate and undertaking annual audits, split between group members.
